AI Policy
1. General Principles
The journal recognizes that generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools may be used by authors during manuscript preparation.
Any use of generative AI or AI-assisted technologies must be transparently disclosed at the time of initial submission.
The journal prioritizes transparency, academic integrity, and accountability in scholarly publishing.
2. Mandatory Disclosure
If generative AI tools or AI-assisted technologies were used in the preparation of the manuscript, authors must include a dedicated section before the References titled:
Declaration of the Use of Generative AI and AI-Assisted Technologies
Recommended wording:
During the preparation of this manuscript, the author(s) used [NAME OF TOOL / SERVICE] for [SPECIFIC PURPOSE]. Following the use of this tool/service, the author(s) reviewed and edited the content as necessary and take full responsibility for the content of the published article.
This declaration will appear in the published article.
3. Use That Does Not Require Disclosure
Disclosure is not required for the use of basic tools that assist with:
- grammar checking
- spell checking
- reference formatting
- language editing
If no AI tools were used in manuscript preparation, no declaration is required.
4. Author Responsibility
Authors remain fully responsible for:
- the accuracy of data
- the integrity of analysis
- the originality of the manuscript
- compliance with ethical and copyright standards
AI tools cannot be listed as authors or co-authors.
5. Restrictions for Editors and Reviewers
To protect author rights and manuscript confidentiality, the journal does not permit editors or reviewers to use generative AI tools (including ChatGPT or similar systems) during the peer-review or editorial decision-making process.
6. Compliance with International Standards
This policy aligns with current international publishing standards and may be updated in accordance with evolving best practices in academic publishing.
Authors are encouraged to consult major publisher policies regarding the use of generative AI in scholarly communication.
