Privacy Policy, Confidentiality and Consent to Personal Data Processing
Authors and Reviewers
Manuscripts should be reviewed with due respect for the confidentiality of authors, as this determines the confidence of the editorial board in the published results of their scientific work and creative efforts, on which their reputation and career may depend. Reviewers also have the right to confidentiality, which should be maintained by the editor. Confidentiality may be violated if there is bias, dishonesty, or fraud.
The editorial board should not disclose information about manuscripts (their receipt, content, status in the review process, reviewers' criticism, or final result) to persons other than authors and reviewers, including requests to use materials for legal actions.
Manuscripts submitted for review are privileged and are the private property of the authors. Therefore, reviewers and members of the editorial board respect the rights of authors by not discussing their work in public and not appropriating their ideas. Reviewers are not allowed to make copies of manuscripts for their own files or pass them on to others. Reviewers should return or destroy copies of manuscripts after submitting their reviews. The editors should not keep copies of rejected manuscripts. Reviewers' comments cannot be made public without the permission of the reviewer, author, and editor.
