Abstract

The article examines the spiritual potential of women as a psychological resource for tolerance to uncertainty in the context of war. The relevance of the study is determined by the growing role of women in social, public, and professional life during large-scale societal transformations accompanied by a high level of uncertainty and emotional stress. Spiritual potential is considered as an important internal resource of personality associated with the formation of life meanings, moral orientations, responsible attitudes toward oneself, and the ability for psychological self-regulation. The study analyzes the relationship between the level of spiritual potential and manifestations of intolerance to uncertainty that reflect individual differences in responding to unpredictable and unstable life situations. The findings indicate a relationship between the development of spiritual potential and women’s ability to respond constructively to uncertainty and psychological challenges during wartime. Higher levels of spiritual development are associated with lower levels of intolerance to uncertainty, contributing to more effective emotional regulation and greater psychological resilience. Age-related differences in attitudes toward uncertainty and responsibility for personal health are also identified. The results highlight the importance of spiritual development as a significant psychological resource that supports women’s adaptation, resilience, and well-being in conditions of social crisis and prolonged uncertainty.
