Psychological Support of the Professional Activities of Pedagogical Workers, Aimed at Harmonizing Their Psychological Health
Abstract
The article examines the problem of psychological support for the professional activity of pedagogical workers in the context of contemporary social transformations and wartime challenges. The relevance of the study is determined by the increasing psychogenic impact of ecological, political, economic, and moral crises on teachers, which leads to chronic psychological stress, emotional exhaustion, and deterioration of psychological health. In this context, the development of an effective system of psychological support for pedagogical workers becomes particularly important for maintaining their psychological well-being and professional functioning. The study presents a model of psychological support for pedagogical and professional activity aimed at harmonizing the psychological health of teachers. The main directions, methods, stages, and forms of psychological support are identified and characterized. Special attention is given to psychological diagnostics, psychological education, training programs, and individual counseling as key instruments for strengthening the psychological resilience of teachers. The study demonstrates that the effectiveness of psychological support depends on the integration of group and individual forms of work aimed at developing personal resources, professional reflection, and spiritual and psychological recovery. The proposed system of psychological support is based on the achievements of previous scientific research and simultaneously includes innovative components that contribute to improving the psychological well-being and professional sustainability of pedagogical workers.
